"In July 2007 Seven Riding for the Disabled Groups in Auckland organized a Regional Games for riders at the Brookby Ti Papa Equestrian Centre needing nearly 100 volunteers. Doug Humby offered his expertise and time to record the event for us."

"The brief that I gave to Doug – was just ‘Go for it – and see if you can get a photo of at least every rider and horse!!!’ (He had not been given any previous strategy or programme planning). I then left him on his own! With riders, volunteers and horses all performing different tasks around him – he quietly went about the job of taking photos – without upsetting any of the horses (not many of them are used to the paparazzi!). I don’t think he upset any of the volunteers either – but managed to get some very interesting angles."
